ABOUT LIV AIRA


 

Liv is a native Swedish dancer, choreographer, artistic director, from Sápmi, Jokkmokk. She often reflects on her background from Sápmi in her arts. Liv produces and create dance shows for different ages, creates screendance, arranges the screendance festival Låvda and other dance related events and staged arts.

Liv Airas art describes as powerful, spiritual, imaginative in her animalistic movements. 

She graduated from Institute of The Arts Barcelona 2018 with a Master degree in dance and choreography. 2014-2017 she studied BA (Hons) in Dance also at Institute of the Arts Barcelona and before that she had one year of studies at the physiotherapy education in Linköpings health university, Sweden. 

Liv is currently touring the world with her own productions and others.

DANCE TEACHING

Liv has been working as a dance teacher since 2010. She teaches various of styles such as; Contemporary, Jazz Dance and Classical Ballet. Her teaching experience has developed her dancing, allowing her to view dance from new perspectives and investigating different teaching techniques. 

She has been working for schools and organisations such as: Arenaskolans dance profile, Lunnevads Foundation course, Institute of the Arts Barcelona, Justine Garner Dance School,  Linköpings Balettförening, World Dance Movement, Pure gym and project leader at Folkuniversitetet Linköping. 

 

 Liv is experienced of teaching a variety of ages and styles. Educated through Royal Academy of Dance and ISTD as well as her own concept classes, she can also provide fitness, conditioning and anatomy classes for dancers.
